- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles with streamlined efficiency
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for multi-state operations
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data integrity
- Collaborate with auditors during annual compliance reviews
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and Xero for real-time financial reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 3+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Deep understanding of GAAP and non-profit accounting standards
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll tax compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced consulting environment
