Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients across various industries
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve client operations
- Train junior staff on accounting procedures and software best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP)
- Demonstrated expertise in month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Strong understanding of sales tax regulations and payroll compliance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration
