Responsibilities
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable cycles efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain financial statements, including Balance Sheets and P&L statements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.
- Process payroll and ensure all tax filings are up to date.
- Reconcile credit card statements and vendor accounts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Associates degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
