Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare month-end financial statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and payroll processing
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
- Collaborate with CPAs during annual audits and tax season
- Maintain organized digital financial records with strict confidentiality protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Strong communication abilities for client consultations
- Proven track record of meeting tight deadlines
- Experience with multi-state payroll and sales tax compliance
