Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and ensure timely vendor payments
- Process payroll and tax filings in compliance with federal and Texas state regulations
- Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with audits and financial reviews as required
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel to maintain accurate financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and Texas tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
