Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 corporate clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets and P&L reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll accounts with 99% accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and manage vendor relationships
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and annual audits
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial data security
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and software proficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in public accounting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and Illinois state tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage complex multi-client portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
- Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
