Responsibilities
- Manage complete bookkeeping cycles including AP/AR, payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance commentary
- Oversee QuickBooks implementation and optimization for client systems
- Coordinate annual tax preparation and maintain compliance documentation
- Develop custom financial reports and KPI dashboards for executive review
- Lead month-end closing processes with strict deadlines
- Mentor junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a public accounting setting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios with 20+ entities
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation required
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to microscopic detail
