Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse SMB clients using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and payroll accounts with 100% accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and optimize cash flow cycles
- Implement and maintain robust internal controls for compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during tax season and audit preparations
- Train clients on financial best practices and software optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and Texas sales tax regulations
- Proven experience with multi-client bookkeeping in a service-based firm
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to numerical precision
- Strong client communication abilities and problem-solving aptitude
