Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations and financial reporting
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow optimization
- Process multi-state payroll and tax compliance documentation
- Prepare month-end closing packages and variance analysis
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
- Collaborate with auditors during annual reviews
- Lead training for junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency with multi-state payroll systems
- Strong GAAP knowledge and compliance experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced environments
