Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Oversee bank reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Coordinate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (CPA/CMA a plus)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping in mid-size companies
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
