Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and income reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Collaborate with tax preparation teams during quarterly reviews
- Implement financial controls and process improvements
- Train junior bookkeepers on software and best practices
- Present financial summaries to client stakeholders quarterly
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation required
- Strong knowledge of California sales tax regulations
- Experience with multi-client portfolio management
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
