Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll processing
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for clients
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions monthly
- Manage sales tax filings and quarterly tax returns
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems (QuickBooks Online)
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to business clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance requirements
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple client deadlines simultaneously
