We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented **Senior Bookkeeper** to join our dynamic finance team in Charlotte, North Carolina. Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all journal entries are accurate, classified, and timely.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and variance reports for management review.
- Process payroll entries and manage employee expense reports and reimbursements.
- Assist with year-end audits and support the external accounting firm during tax preparation.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Xero) to streamline financial processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar accounting software is required.
- Strong working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups) is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
