Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and vendor relationships
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for efficiency
- Support annual audits and regulatory filings
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in US GAAP
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (Advanced Functions)
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with financial reporting dashboards
- Knowledge of sales tax regulations (FL-specific)
