Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and process payroll
- Oversee tax filings and compliance documentation
- Implement financial controls and improve accounting processes
- Support audits and provide financial analysis to leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
