Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions within strict deadlines
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Oversee bank reconciliations and cash flow management
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Assist with annual audits and tax preparation documentation
- Generate financial reports for executive decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS compliance regulations
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity accounting systems
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (CPA, CB) strongly preferred
- Experience with payroll processing and tax filing
