Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small to mid-sized businesses
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Reconcile bank accounts and process payroll through ADP
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and tax document preparation
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with CPAs during quarterly reviews and year-end closings
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced QuickBooks Online certification required
- Proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table expertise
- Knowledge of Oregon state tax regulations
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Experience with construction or retail accounting a plus
- Proven ability to meet strict deadlines with 100% accuracy
