Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank transactions weekly
- Prepare monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Manage month-end and year-end closing procedures with accuracy
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred)
- Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP/Texas tax regulations
- Provide strategic financial analysis to support client business decisions
- Train clients on financial management best practices
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in a professional setting
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Microsoft Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation required
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Deep understanding of Texas sales tax and payroll regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with 100% accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong client communication abilities with polished presentation skills
