Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable for 15-20 clients
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Process payroll and manage employee expense reimbursements
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and annual audits
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks Online systems for new clients
- Provide financial analysis and budget support to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Experience with multi-client accounting software (e.g., Xero, FreshBooks)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and communicate financial concepts clearly
