Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive review
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks preferred)
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure compliance
- Train junior accounting staff on financial processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-entity portfolios
- Strong understanding of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
- Advanced certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) a plus
