Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger reconciliations and financial statements
- Process payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and monthly closing cycles
- Prepare detailed financial reports for clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Manage QuickBooks and accounting software implementations
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
- Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals
- Mentor junior accounting staff
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Expert knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proven experience in multi-client accounting environments
