Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly bank statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable with precision and timeliness
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial processes
- Collaborate with CPA firm for annual audits and tax filings
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily transaction recording and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations (NC-specific)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
