Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 high-growth startups
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Process AP/AR with QuickBooks Online and Xero integration
- Coordinate annual tax documentation with CPA partners
- Implement internal controls for multi-entity accounting
- Train junior staff on financial systems protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in tech/VC-backed firms
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- CPA or EA certification preferred
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven track record of managing complex accounts
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance required
