Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile multi-client accounting systems ensuring 100% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Oversee full-cycle accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for 15+ small business clients
- Conduct bank reconciliations and variance analysis
- Coordinate with tax preparers for quarterly filings and year-end audits
- Maintain organized digital filing systems with strict compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- CPA or EA certification highly desirable
- Proven track record in managing multi-client portfolios
- Deep understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-tolerance for errors
- Strong communication skills for client interactions
