Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor relationships
- Process payroll and ensure timely tax compliance
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks proficiency required)
- Conduct internal audits and identify process improvement opportunities
- Collaborate with CPA firm for year-end preparations and audits
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting standards
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transaction processing
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) preferred
