Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small to medium business clients
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow)
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings
- Implement and maintain accounting software systems
- Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Provide strategic financial insights to client stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation a plus
- Experience with multi-client accounting platforms
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities for client interactions
