Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment portfolios monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Assist with tax preparation and financial analysis
- Implement internal controls for financial compliance
- Train junior accounting staff on best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS regulations
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
