Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and month-end closing procedures
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict attention to deadlines
- Prepare financial statements and management reports for diverse clientele
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions monthly
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems
- Collaborate with tax professionals during audit seasons
- Train junior staff on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent designation preferred
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication abilities for client interactions
- Experience with payroll processing a plus
