Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll systems
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping software solutions
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with CFO on financial strategy and forecasting
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Strong knowledge of Ohio tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
