Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex multi-entity accounting systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for 15+ diverse clients
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing for mid-sized businesses
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online for new client onboarding
- Collaborate with tax department for quarterly compliance and year-end preparations
- Develop customized financial reporting dashboards for client stakeholder meetings
- Lead month-end closing procedures with strict deadline adherence
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online/Xero
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Proven expertise in multi-state payroll processing and sales tax compliance
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and financial modeling
- Exceptional attention to detail with demonstrated error prevention track record
- Strong communication skills for client advisory and team collaboration
- Experience with nonprofit and for-profit accounting systems
- Proactive problem-solving approach with analytical mindset
