Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile multi-entity accounts using QuickBooks Online and Enterprise
- Prepare month-end closing reports, including P&L statements and balance sheets
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with 3-way matching protocols
- Process payroll and tax filings for 15+ employees quarterly
- Conduct internal audits and implement financial controls
- Collaborate with CPAs on annual tax preparation and audits
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a professional services environment
- Advanced QuickBooks certification (QB ProAdvisor preferred)
- Expertise in GAAP compliance and FASB standards
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Experience with multi-state tax filings and payroll systems (ADP)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
