Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for 15+ clients
- Manage sales tax filings and payroll processing for small to medium businesses
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks systems for new clients
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit processes
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
