Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15+ diverse clients including AR/AP, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare month-end closing reports with variance analysis and financial statement compilation
- Oversee QuickBooks implementations and provide advanced training to clients
- Coordinate with tax professionals during quarterly and annual filings
- Develop customized financial dashboards and KPI tracking systems
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and California state tax regulations
- Lead monthly client review meetings to present financial insights
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online/Desktop
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced formula knowledge and pivot tables
- Proven track record of managing multi-client portfolios
- Strong understanding of sales tax regulations (BOE experience a plus)
- Certification (QB ProAdvisor, AAP, or similar) required
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with construction or e-commerce industries preferred
