Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements and month-end closing reports
- Oversee QuickBooks Online implementation and optimization
- Assist with audits and ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Collaborate with tax preparation teams for quarterly filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks/Xero
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (vlookups, pivot tables)
- CPA or QuickBooks certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of NY sales tax regulations
- Experience with multi-currency transactions
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
