Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Process payroll for multiple clients with tax filings and compliance oversight
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and investment accounts monthly
- Assist with year-end tax preparation documentation and audits
- Implement and optimize bookkeeping workflows for new client acquisitions
- Train junior staff on accounting software best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation required
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Experience with payroll processing (ADP or Gusto preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Texas tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
