Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state tax regulations
- Oversee payroll processing and tax filings for 15+ employees
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (advanced functions)
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation preferred
- Deep understanding of Texas sales tax regulations
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage confidential financial data with integrity
