Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile accounts payable/receivable
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Manage payroll processing and tax compliance for 50+ employees
- Oversee QuickBooks operations and implement process improvements
- Coordinate annual audits and prepare supporting documentation
- Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop/Online
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Proven experience with multi-state payroll processing
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
