Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with precision
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 15+ clients
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks accounting systems
- Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation processes
- Develop financial forecasting models and budget analysis tools
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Desktop
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification a plus
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and IRS tax regulations
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
