Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 small business clients using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and payroll processing
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure financial compliance
- Assist with tax preparation documentation and quarterly sales tax filings
- Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to business owners
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in Excel with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or QuickBooks ProAdvisor designation a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and Texas tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with proven error prevention track record
