Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 diverse clients including AR/AP reconciliation, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with variance analysis
- Oversee sales tax filings and ensure compliance with Washington state regulations
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks Online workflows for multi-client portfolios
- Collaborate with CFOs on financial forecasting and budget preparation
- Lead month-end closing processes with strict deadline adherence
- Mentor junior bookkeepers and maintain standardized accounting procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent certification (CPA/CPB preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Proven expertise in multi-state tax compliance and payroll processing
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Experience with construction or SaaS industry accounting highly valued
- Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) designation strongly preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with 100% reconciliation accuracy
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment with competing deadlines
