Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile monthly financial statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage cash flow operations
- Prepare monthly financial reports for executive leadership and clients
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize accounting software systems (QuickBooks/Xero)
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance
- Collaborate with CFO on strategic financial planning initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- CPA or QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification preferred
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and Tennessee tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with zero-error tolerance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
