Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow monitoring
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance for 15+ employees
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for daily transaction recording and reporting
- Conduct month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with CPAs during audit processes
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks proficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros)
- Proven experience managing multi-company books
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) a plus
