Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit cards, and balance sheet accounts
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll for multiple clients
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheets, cash flow) and month-end closing reports
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations while implementing internal controls
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly and annual reporting cycles
- Manage client relationships and provide financial analysis for business decision-making
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Online
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and payroll processing
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation highly desirable
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and communicate financial concepts clearly
