Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledgers and reconcile bank accounts monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll cycles
- Prepare financial statements and tax documentation packages
- Implement and optimize accounting software workflows
- Conduct financial audits and compliance reviews
- Collaborate with CPAs on quarterly tax filings
- Manage vendor relationships and expense reporting systems
- Support month-end closing processes
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent certification
- Expert knowledge of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage)
- Strong attention to detail with error reconciliation abilities
