Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable with 99.8% accuracy
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analyses
- Manage bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Implement internal controls for compliance with GAAP
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in DC metro area
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel
- Experience with nonprofit/government accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
