Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and reconcile bank statements monthly
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage payroll operations
- Generate financial reports including P&L statements and balance sheets
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily transaction recording and analysis
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly/annual audits
- Implement process improvements for financial workflows
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Pro/Premier
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- CPA or QuickBooks certification a strong plus
- Proven experience with multi-state sales tax filings
- Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
