Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed insights
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions daily
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and vendor management
- Implement and maintain QuickBooks and accounting software systems
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and California tax regulations
- Collaborate with CPA firms for audit preparation and tax filings
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional bookkeeping experience in California
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Deep knowledge of California sales tax regulations (BOE)
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential financial data with discretion
