Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable/receivable processes for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for business owners
- Oversee payroll processing and tax compliance documentation
- Implement and optimize QuickBooks workflows for maximum efficiency
- Coordinate with external auditors during annual reviews
- Train junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience in Atlanta market
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record with multi-entity accounting systems
- Deep knowledge of GAAP and Georgia tax regulations
- Advanced problem-solving skills for reconciling discrepancies
- Excellent written communication for client reporting
- Professional certification (e.g., CB) highly valued
