Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile complex multi-entity general ledger accounts with monthly closings
- Process accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations for 15+ clients
- Generate GAAP-compliant financial statements and management reports
- Implement and optimize accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights
- Coordinate with auditors during annual reviews and tax season
- Train junior bookkeepers on best practices and compliance standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in full-cycle bookkeeping with SaaS or tech clients
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent professional certification (CPA/CMA preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and SOX compliance
- Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions with 99.9% accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing financial consultations
