In this full-time position, you will serve as the backbone of our accounting operations. You will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and providing essential support to our management team. Responsibilities

  • Manage and reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring all invoices are recorded and payments are made accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and General Ledger summaries.
  • Assist with monthly and quarterly payroll processing using QuickBooks Online.
  • Prepare and file monthly sales and use tax returns.
  • Perform month-end and year-end close procedures in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Assist external auditors during annual audits and provide requested documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online (required) and Xero (preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.) is essential.
  • Experience with payroll processing and tax preparation (sales tax, payroll tax) is highly desirable.
  • Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or CMA certification is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
